To promote and develop participation in the sport of Disc Golf with the ultimate goal of establishing a permanent 18 hole course in Sussex.

Disc Golf In Sussex

We do not currently have a permanent disc golf course in East Sussex but we do hope to generate enough interest in the sport locally to see a ‘free to play’ course installed in the county. We play mainly in Brighton at Stanmer Park but also play in Eastbourne and Hastings. We play using portable baskets and have a well established 9 hole short course and 18 hole course at Stanmer Park. The course has held two South Eastern Tour Series events in the last two years which has seen disc golfers from across the country coming to play the course.

Get Involved

If you are interested in trying disc golf then you are more than welcome to join us. We play regular weekend and evening rounds throughout the summer and even the harshest of winter weather rarely dampens our enthusiasm for the game. We can provide coaching and equipment for beginners and are happy to cater for all ability levels.

Disc Golf Events

For the last 3 years Sussex Disc Golf have been proud to be involved with¬†Elderflower Fields¬†– a family festival based in Ashdown Forest. We have introduced disc golf to hundreds of families and have always had incredibly positive feedback. We have been regular participants in Brighton’s Take Part Festival of Sport and Physical Activity. On top of this we have also run a number of smaller one off events including; corporate team building events, stag-do experiences and working with charitable groups. If you are interested in Sussex Disc Golf providing an event for you then please get in touch.
